Happiness is a warm kofta

Hejhej everybody!

Know it's been ages since I last wrote but you know how it is: Sometimes you feel like writing, sometimes you don't. Last time I wrote was before my birthday so I think I'll write a little something about that to bring you up to speed. Since then there has also been the campaign, as some of you have seen in the email I sent, otherwise look at the link here, I've been to Geneva and I've also done a small internship. The latter was a real time consumer. More about that later, maybe...

Yes, sorry. Maybe I should have mentioned that you need to have a quite good knowledge of Beatles songs, Indian cuisine and speak Swedish to understand the title of the blog, but I'm sure Oskar and my dad will think it's somewhat funny.

(Did you follow all the three links, and thereafter pondered on my little wordplay there? I guess I just waisted a minute of your life that you'll never have back :-)

Anyways... I had played with the idea of celebrating my birthday at an Indian restaurant with the friends that would feel like going. The reason I chose Indian is because it's one my favorites and because I've happened to stumble upon a really nice and not particularly pricey restaurant close to my school. To make a long story short, I had originally booked between 20 and 25 seats since I thought that there actually might be quite a few people motivated to come. Finally, we ended up being more than 40 persons and took up the entire bottom floor of the restaurant! I should think the owner was happy, since it was a Thursday... It's truly a gift to have the opportunity to have so many friends to gather around you. I surely hope I can stay in touch with some of them. To the ones who were there, thank you! I wish you could all could come to Linköping next year for my 25th birthday!

Birthday Indian Style

Now it's time to go eat in the school K'fet. It's the "Art Club" that has arranged a week of different "arty" things. For example, I took a gospel introductory lesson yesterday. Twelve students and man with a piano. He could truly sing well and we weren't too bad either! We sang classics like "when the saints" and "Oh happy day". Way fun! Maybe it's time to be doing something with my ideas of joining a choir...

Pictures of Geneva are already on my Picasa page and there well be more soon.

See you soon I hope! (only three months left here at school).
